The BizCHOICE Transportation program was created nearly 15 years ago by Paul Hanson Partners, a national program administrator specializing in providing risk management and insurance solutions for the moving and storage industry for 30 years. Having identified a need in the marketplace for a compliant insurance solution, we developed an insurance program for heavy bulk last mile delivery, which has become the most consistent market available. We have recently added a middle mile program to bring better specialty coverage to this transportation segment.
We offer comprehensive insurance programs for our customers, build strong relationships with our insurance partners and customers, and give back to the industry. Leveraging our “A” rated carrier, decades of experience in the market, and breadth of services — including underwriting, distribution, policy administration, billing, online loss control and vendor partner offerings — we are a unique program for brokers, contract carriers and customers who want a one-stop, end-to-end approach to insurance and risk management.
In 2017, BizCHOICE was acquired by Specialty Program Group, LLC (SPG), signaling a commitment to continued expansion of our insurance programs. SPG purchases industry leading specialties to give them even more financial stability along with product development and broader distribution channels, while still allowing them to maintain what made them successful. Today our all-lines solution, including workers’ compensation, is offered through a single carrier, bringing streamlined operational efficiency to brokers and customers.
